Own a Piece of Texaco History - Porcelain Vintage Signs That Are 100% Real
The Texas Oil Boom started on January 10, 1901 in Beaumont, Texas, and the United States instantly became the world’s leading oil producer. Back then, Texaco was known as The Texas Co. and became the first major oil producer and the first national oil brand to market in all states. Texaco’s famous logo was adopted in 1909 - a green T in front of a red star. Later changing to a white star with a red T, the Texaco logo remains an iconic image of America’s industrializing spirit. Texaco is also a known supporter of NASCAR and was the sole sponsor of the Metropolitan Opera’s radio broadcasts for 63 years, making it one of the nations great companies.
