A semi collectable Red Hat gas sign for IOMA (Independent Oil Men of America). This gas station sign collectable can be used on an old gas pump or displayed on the wall of your office, showroom or Man Cave. This single sided porcelain sign is in the shape of a circle with a thick red outline. The sign features the words "Tri-Star" arched along the top and "Gasoline" arched along the bottom in red caps with white drop shadows within a black outer ring. The old Red Hat logo is located in the center of the sign, with the red Thunderbird logo in a black triangle under the red hat logo on a white background along the center of this reproduction collectable sign.

This sign collectable is for Tri-Star Red Hat Gasoline manufactured by the IOMA of Chicago, Illinois formed in 1925. Their original Red Hat logo was contested by Standard Oil as being too similar to your Red Crown brand in 1929 and had since adopted the Thunderbird Triangle logo as their trademark.
