Details As Shown: King Bed, Log Style Hand Carved Solid Cedar Beam's, - Exotic Cedar - Medium Distress - 92"W X 101"L X 72"T Head, 48"T Foot, With Hand Carved Twig Top Design. This bed is hand hewn to shape, then pegged and doweled to create a solid structure. The headboard has been professionally hand carved to resemble natural tree limbs. The cross beams are also tenon joined, pegged and doweled. The foot board and headboard are constructed from 5 1/4" diameter round horizontal beams and 3 1/4" round spindles. The posts are 10" in diameter and are made from solid cedar and have mar proof leveling feet. The finish is five coats of hand rubbed lacquer over the natural wood. The weight of this bed is 500 lbs.


Details As Shown: This custom furnishing has been hand hewn by draw knife to shape from natural air dried exotic cedar solid timber. All carving designs are a solid part of the main structure (no glued up or add on design pieces or veneers). Design carvings appear on all sides of our furnishings allowing them to be used in the middle of a room as well as against a wall. All surfaces including the backs are finished and made of solid wood.


All Bed Structures Include Steel Reinforced Side Rails that bolt to the head board and foot board making each bed structure solid and with out wobble. The rail height is your choice. Mattress slats are 2" X 4" solid timber allowing your mattress a solid support structure.


Details As Shown: Matching Dresser, - Exotic Cedar - Medium Distress - 84"L X 24"D X 34"T. This dresser features 3 3/4" round legs with copper arrow inlays and nine log style drawers on full extension, easy glide tracks. All surfaces are finished including the inside of the drawers. This piece comes with mar proof leveling feet.


Details As Shown: Matching Mirror, - Exotic Cedar - Medium Distress - 56"W X 48"T. This mirror features three sections with adjustable side panels. The center panel also features a professionally hand carved twig design to match the design on the headboard of the bed.


Details As Shown: Matching Night Stand, - Exotic Cedar - Medium Distress - 26"W X 24"D X 26"T. The night stand features 3 3/4" legs with shiny penny copper arrow inlays and two log front drawers on full extension, easy glide tracks. Mar proof leveling feet are included.


Finish Details As Shown: Color: Medium Walnut (with heavy sanding) Lacquer Matte Our final finish processes includes five to ten coats of hand rubbed furniture quality clear oils or water based non-toxic lacquers. It is applied, cured, rubbed and re-applied depending upon whether your order is limited edition or old growth original works. Every surface of this furnishing is finely finished including the undersides and hidden areas. These furnishings are built to investment family heirloom quality and are finished to be virtually maintenance free and will stand the test of time. You may choose the natural color, from over 400 standard stain colors or we will computer color match to any color stain you may desire. Most of our finishes are water based and earth friendly. You may order any single stain color or texture finish at no extra charge. If raised grain finish is desired, the wire brushed raised grain of the natural cedar is designed to appear rustic and aged, however this is a highly finished, snag and splinter free surface.

Colorized Carving. You can order any carving colorized. In order to achieve a colorized carving, multiple stain colors are used. The stains are hand applied and blended with an artistic eye to achieve an enhanced natural appearance.

All Steel Is Coal Fired, Hammered By Master Blacksmiths The Old Fashioned Way And Patina Finished. At Scottsdale Art Factory, we take pride in our traditional, superior quality workmanship and craft our products from only the finest steel. Our master blacksmiths have been classically trained, and utilize old world techniques such as coal firing, anvil hammering and hand forging to create the finest handcrafted hardware available anywhere. All of our steel work is hand patina finished by heat applying iron oxides to achieve a natural patina finish that will stand the test of time.



Nothing is Drop Forged. We create works The Old Fashioned Way using solid hand forged steel, (drop forging is a poor quality, casted copy of a hand forged work of art). Nothing is wrought iron; wrought iron is simply a softer and less sturdy form of metal that cannot compare to stronger hand forged low carbon steel.

Patina Finish As Shown: Various Colors Of Hand Applyed Iron Oxide Patinas. S.A.F. does not paint or faux finish any of our iron creations. Paint fades, chips and cracks over time and patinas last forever. No Drop Forged Casted Copies.
